I’ve made it ! I just gave the hgk_ff_msg_ok variable in the php the value i wanted (the html code) and disabled it from updating in “settings” mode. Now, when someone submits feedback they’re able to get a download link and the “return” button as well. From now on, i will change links directly in the php and update as necessary. Thanks ! Nice plugin and working 100%.

Hi ! I have tried to put a html code in the success message and it doesn’t work . I want to be able to offer a download link, for example, once the feedback has been successfully submitted. In the WP settings panel, after i paste the link code it puts the \ sign after each and every “” i use. Can I add links in the success message ? Thanks !

You plugin realy helped me on the server without “sendmail” working properly! Using GoogleMail for mailing suits me best)

P.S.: plugin works great on WordPress MU 2.8.6 and BuddyPress 1.1.3 on one of my sites)

I just installed HGK SMTP and am having a bit of a problem. my website (www.cyberwarloop.com) is a subdomain off my test web-page (www.clean-your-carpet-cheap.com). When HGK SMTP sends an e-mail out, the “reply-to” e-mail address is listed as wordpress@cyberwarloop.clean-your-carpet-cheap.com rather than the e-mail address that I put into the plugin configuration page: administrator@cyberwarloop.com

How do I get the sender and reply-to address to the same as I specify?

I am using WP 2.9.2

Your plugin works extremely well. Haven’t found any plugins yet that do not work well with it but that might also be something you want on this site, to both offer support and drive traffic.

I downloaded HGK to use with my wordpress blogs/websites. Since I own my web server using Apache, Php, MySql in Windows XP, I don’t have a mail server installed. So I needed a mail-smtp plug-in for workpress.

I tried several mail-smtp, but none of them would work with Gmail and the ones that worked using my ISP settings did not work with any Contact Forms.

I downloaded HKG and installed it in my test wordpress blog and it too didn’t work with Gmail. “Oh! not another one” Anyway, I thought I would see if HGK would work using my ISP settings with SSL checked. And again it did not work. So I unchecked the SSL and ran the save test again, This time it worked. I then tried sending an email through my Contact form and again it works.

Since I prefer to use my ISP settings anyway, I’m now a happy camper. I know this is a long reply, but I wanted your readers to know HKG works for me. Thank you!

I installed your plugin to my site but got this message. Is the problem that it is not compatible with wordpress 2.9 yet?
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /…/wp-content/plugins/hgk-feedback-form/hgk-feedback-form.php on line 13

Mike,

The plugin is written with security in mind. And it does not modify content of the blog itself, instead it sends user submission via email.
