Frequently Asked Questions

What does iHagaki mean?

Hagaki is a postcard with the size specified by Japanese post to be 100mm X 150mm or about 4 X 6 inches. And ‘i’ at the front means you – the user of iHagaki Postcards.

How do I pay for your service?

We accept all major credit cards. And since iHagaki Postcards is a straight forward pay-as-you-go service, your credit card is charged only when you actually submit a postcard order.

How do you handle my credit card information?

We employ all possible measures to keep billing information secure. It is never stored on your iPhone, in fact the only trace of this information that iHagaki application knows about is the last four digits of credit card number. This is done to help you, the user, identify the credit card you are currently using.

Why some images cause “The selected image can not be used” message?

Printing with quality requires higher resolution images comparing to viewing on computer or mobile device screen. While 480 by 320 pixel image looks good on iPhone, printing 6 X 4 inches cards requires an image at least 1080 X 720 pixels. iPhone camera produces images with much higher resolution. If you want to use images from other sources please read Bringing Full Resolution Images to iPhone.
